United Nations: Ukraine has sheltered most Afghans on its soil

Since 2014, Ukraine has hijacked most Afghans in its territory.

According to a UN Declaration on Refugees, from January 2014 to date, Ukraine has recognized 1497 Afghan refugees as immune, which is higher than for asylum seekers from other countries, including Syria.

The number of Afghans is higher than those of other countries, among those who have applied for asylum in Ukraine since 2016, according to the Russian news agency, Interfax Russia.

During this period, 6,573 Afghans have applied for asylum in Ukraine.

This is while more than 400 thousand Ukrainians have applied for asylum in Russia.
