French rescue forces succeeded in rescuing 10 Iranian and Iraqi refugees from a refrigerator for a truck in the southwest of the country on Sunday.
The driver of the truck, when stopping at a roadside rescue station, noticed the noise of a few people behind his truck and asked for help from the gendarmerie, AFP reported.
According to a local radio station, 5 of these survivors were children and members of two Iranian and Iraqi families.
The truck was to go to Britain after entering France. The local media did not publish a report about the origin, but the truck seems to have arrived in Spain from Spain.
The news of the discovery and dismantling of a major Iranian human trafficking gang in Spain last week was released.
